Martha's Monster Cookies

Mix in a very large dish pan. Makes 300 to 600 cookies, depending on the size.
- Ingredients
- 1 pound margarine
- 2 pounds brown sugar
- 4 cups white sugar
- 1 dozen eggs
- 3 pounds peanut butter
- 8 teaspoons soda
- 18 cups oatmeal
- 1 pound chocolate chips
- Half cup vanilla
- 2 cups peanuts or other nuts
- 1 pound tiny candy covered chocolate bits (smarties)
Combine the margarine, sugar, eggs and peanut butter, then add the remaining ingredients except the candy chocolate bits which are more colourful if put on top of each cookie. Drop by teaspoons on buttered cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.
