aia lamented, "The Earth grows crowded with the people. There is no place for the creatures created by the Word. Greed destroys the Earth. The people anger me. I gave them wisdom. I made a covenant with my sacred rainbow that I would not destroy them . They promised to listen to my words. But now in their foolishness, they destroy my creation and themselves. Soon no people will exist on the Earth. Then in sorrow will I pick another, smaller creature, a better, kinder creature to grow into wisdom."

2. Gaia walked the Earth, keening and rending her clothes. For despite their sins, she loved the people the best of all her creatures and did not wish to see them perish. Then one day she came across a woman trying to save the Earth. She had turned people's hearts to small changes but their love of material things held them as an addiction.

3. "Oh, Blessed Kore,"said Gaia. " You are my Beloved. How you have struggled to stop the greed and stop the destruction of my creatures. There is no hope, though many times you have prayed to me without ceasing. Take the least of my people, those closest to me. The forgotten, the starving, the giving. Build ships to travel through the void and fill them with two of every kind of animal and two of every kind of plant. I will take you to a New World. And when your children have grown to fill this New World, I will show you another and the New World will become the Old. So that my people may never destroy themselves again."

4. Blessed Kore replied,"Oh Great Gaia, Queen of All. Your wisdom lasts for Eternity. I can gather the people you wish. And we can gather the animals and plants. But there is no one to help me build the ships."

5. "If you do as I ask and announce your plan, he will come," replied Gaia.

6. "You are all knowing, wise and benevolent," said Blessed Kore. But she doubted.

7. Gaia laid her words on a man called Noah, from the land of Canata. He fell in love with Blessed Kore's picture that come to him through the air and rested in a mirror. He told her picture that he could build the ships, that in their great greed, his family owned the metal, glass and air Blessed Kore needed. The man called Noah was the first Bodhisattva

8. They built the ships and sailed away from the Earth. Blessed Kore and her children and her children's children traveled the void, guided by the Word. After a great time, they saw Sol peering from behind the rim of the World. Sol burst over the edge, igniting the void with praises to Gaia. And the children of Kore knew they had come home.

10.

Oh Gaia. Greed stalks the worlds.
Once again Your Children cry out in their grief and bondage.
How long must we wait in tears for the return of your Beloved?

GAIA BLESSES YOUR RETURN
