Winter's snow veils the land
virgin white and pure, untouched.
Empty grey branches, black trunks
stand frozen in the silent night.
Love, a sunrise, touches gentle breezes
Melting the snow where the ruby stars grow.
Leafless branches stretch,
Sap rises, tree flowers blossom.
Moss greens on watery stones
The brook breaks free from icy chains
Krakens wake from a frozen embrace
Gossamer lizards soar singing to the sky.
Once again brown Gaia lies
against the golden skin of Adonis.
The corn grows, the rain falls
The Word swims naked in the womb.
